Long before MTV, I would listen to my music and it would evoke images I felt compelled to capture.

I began with a 126 camera, and after learning the limitations, bought a 35mm and took a class at my local community college. I was hooked. I quickly changed my major and I have been shooting ever since.

My subjects range from the bizarre to the mundane. I love black and white, and it's timeless qualities. I love to photograph "reality portraits", not the standard studio posed portraits.

It is simply a day in the life of my subject, down to the instant in which it is frozen in time forever. It could just be their hands, or a turn of their head, but my portraits will say something about the essence people.

Of course I can also deliver that professional head shot, modeling portfolio, wedding or executive portrait.

Photography is not a job to me, it's a wonderful way of life.
